My Visual Package Locates Manufacturing Center in Glasgow, Kentucky
09/29/2017
MVP will locate in a 15,000-square-foot facility on Grandview Avenue in Glasgow. The investment will cover the cost of sewing machines, apparel cutting equipment and eco-friendly printing equipment for the production of band uniforms, color guard flags, props, accessories and vehicle wraps.
“We cannot express enough gratitude towards the City of Glasgow and the State of Kentucky to help make My Visual Package, LLC come to life,” said Matt Searle, co-Owner of MVP. “We are just as excited to help local businesses in Glasgow, as well as bands all over the country. This is a great spark to help the arts programs thrive in Kentucky.”
“Startups like MVP play an instrumental role in Kentucky’s economic success, particularly when they enter markets as a single-stop provider for all their customers’ needs,” Governor Matt Bevin said. “We look forward to seeing MVP grow and succeed and congratulate the company on identifying an opportunity in a niche market by building their business to serve marching bands and color guards across Kentucky and beyond.”
To encourage the investment and job growth in the community, the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority (KEDFA) in September preliminarily approved the company for tax incentives up to $200,000 through the Kentucky Business Investment program. The performance-based incentive allows a company to keep a portion of its investment over the agreement term through corporate income tax credits and wage assessments by meeting job and investment targets. In addition, My Visual Package can receive resources from the Kentucky Skills Network.
